Kristin L. Soltys, MAI is the Founder and Principal Appraiser of Eminent Valuations, PLLC, a Florida-based real estate appraisal and consulting firm specializing in eminent domain, litigation support, and complex valuation assignments. Ms. Soltys has more than 23 years of experience in the Florida real estate industry, including over 18 years as a State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
Her practice includes valuation and consulting services for attorneys, government agencies, businesses, financial institutions, and private property owners throughout Florida. Ms. Soltys has extensive experience with partial acquisitions, easement valuation, right-of-way projects, expert witness support, appraisal review, and complex property analysis involving both commercial and residential assets.
Ms. Soltys has provided appraisal and consulting services for numerous public and private sector clients, including the Florida Department of Transportation, NASA, the Department of Environmental Protection, counties and municipalities throughout Florida, and a wide range of private property owners and legal professionals. Over the course of her career, Ms. Soltys has appraised hundreds of acquisitions associated with transportation, utility, and public infrastructure projects throughout Florida, including whole takings, partial fee acquisitions, temporary and permanent easements, utility corridors, and complex severance damage analyses.
In addition to valuation and consulting services, Ms. Soltys has experience with Order of Taking hearings, depositions, trial preparation, and expert witness testimony in eminent domain and complex litigation matters throughout Florida. She holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida.
